Mount Stapylton 2015 ‘Robert’ Shiraz "SOLD OUT"
A great vintage- powerful abundant- with great ripe fruit flavours, white pepper, tobacco leaf, bouquet garni, baked rhubarb and smoky charcuterie finely balanced by star anise, raspberry, blackcurrant and poached quince, with caramel and vanilla notes insinuating its 15 month maturation in 60:40 French and American oak barrels. A deep purple/crimson colour. The wine will develop gracefully for a decade or more.
